IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE

Introduction: The Classic Movie with James Stewart. Many problems and at one point he wished he had never been born. He is granted the opportunity to see what Bedford Falls would be like if he had not been born. Then he decided against this wish.
Have you ever considered what the world would be like if you had not been born? Most of the world would not know or care. Yet, in your family and circle of friends, you make a big difference.A.
I. THIS LIFE BRINGS:
A. CHANGES—Physical, Economic, Political, Scientific, Travel, etc. Song: "change and decay in all around I see…"
B. PROBLEMS—Poverty (Ps. 37:25), Sickness, Death, Pollution, Wars, etc. (Verse 6).
C. BLESSINGS—Salvation in Christ, Family, Friends, Pleasures, Opportunities (verse 7). PRAYER.
D. RESPONSIBILITIES—to God, Christ, Church, Self, Family, Mankind, etc. (Verse 9).
II. BEING A CHRISTIAN IS A WONDERFUL LIFE.
—Forgiveness, Salvation, Prayer, Fellowship with Fellow-Christians, Promise of Heaven, etc. (Verse 8). Letter written in Prison!A. IN CHRIST WE HAVE
B. As a Christian, things are not perfect all the time, but this life leads us to eternal life where all things are perfect.
