Ministry: Bible Correspondence

Deacon : Don Adams
This ministry is responsible for advertising the bible correspondence courses and to organize people to grade and return the completed lessons.

Ministry: Prime Timers

Coordinator : Mike McBride
This ministry is responsible for organizing activities with our senior members. This also includes programs at some of the local nursing homes.

Ministry: Focus

Deacon : Mickey Barker
This ministry is responsible for organizing small groups within the congregation to meet for fellowship and handle work assignments. This ministry furnishes weekly assignments to these groups such as phone calls, cards to mailed, and visits.

Ministry: Fellowship

Deacon : Chuck Barnett
This ministry organizes various fellowship meals including the 5^th Sunday noon meal and the monthly Wednesday night meal.

Ministry: Transportation

Deacon : 
This ministry is responsible for the maintenance of the church owned vehicle.

Ministry: Advertising

Deacon :  Mitch Taylor
This ministry is responsible for providing information and generating enthusiasm for the congregation as well as the community regarding special events. 

Ministry: Men to Serve

Deacon : Donnie Miller
This ministry organizes and oversees the various functions with regard to our worship services. This includes assigning people and making sure they are present to make announcements, lead prayers, read scripture, usher and lead singing. This ministry is also active in encouraging people to be active in these various public roles.

Ministry: Children's Activities

Deacons : Johnny Craft & Jason Ward
This ministry is responsible for planning and overseeing various activities for children under 6th grade and work with the Youth Minister on the Vacation Bible School program each summer.

Ministry: Benevolence

Deacon : David Higgins
This ministry coordinates programs of assistance with children homes, and provides assistance to people, inside and outside of our church family.

Ministry: Sound/Tapes

Deacon : Joseph Keene
This ministry is responsible for handling all duties with regard to the sound system. This includes maintaining the system and furnishing staff to handle volume control and make tapes during services. These duties also include reproducing tapes or CD's on request.

Ministry: Education (Birth thru 6^th Grade)

This ministry is responsible for coordinating teachers and teaching material in the younger age (Birth – 6^th Grade).

Ministry: Building/Grounds

Deacons : Jerry Nabors
This ministry is responsible for all general upkeep, repair and maintenance of our building and grounds.

Ministry: Teens Activities

Deacons : Steve Grinder & Rick Kelly
This ministry is in charge of youth activities and education in grades 7 thru 12. 

Ministry: Lads To Leaders / Leaderettes

Deacon : Michael Shirley
This ministry promotes, organizes and oversees the Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes Program within the Great Oaks Congregation.

Ministry: Missions/World Bible School

Deacon : Rhinard Troup
This ministry maintains contact with our missionaries and helps to keep the congregation informed in this area. This ministry also provides the organization and oversight of the World Bible School program.

This ministry is responsible for selecting teachers and planning the course of study for the adult classes.

Ministry: Young Adults

Deacon : Rick Knox
This ministry assists in developing bible classes and arranging various events to provide opportunities for encouragement and establishing relationships with God and each other for the young professionals of our congregation.

Ministry: Missing Sheep & New Christians

Deacon : Ryan McDaniel
These ministries are to encourage those who have been absent from assemblies to avail themselves of the strength that comes from worshipping God with His people; and to inform, guide, and encourage all new Christians, regardless of age, as they begin their new walk with Christ.

Ministry: Office, Technical, Network & Web Support

Deacon :  Jeff Baskin
This ministry provides the church staff and other ministries the technology related tools to do their work smoothly and to apply technology and related resources.

Ministry: Involvement

Deacon :  Floyd Weaver
This ministry is to copy, distribute, collect and tabulate involvement forms and give the results to the shepherds and leaders over various ministries.
