AM – Facing Criticism

This morning we complete our series on 2 Corinthians with an overview of the last few chapters.  In these chapters, it is obvious that Paul has been criticized by some people in Corinth, and that he is hurt by it.  We have all been there before, and we will probably be there again, so let’s see what we can learn from Paul’s attitude toward criticism… 

AM – Set Apart for God

We are studying the book of 2 Corinthians on Sunday mornings, and this morning we come to 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1.  In this passage, we find the difficult challenge of being different from the world while still living in it.  Let’s see what Paul says, and let’s ask ourselves some questions about really being “set apart” for God…

AM – Handling Sin, the Right Way

We are studying 2 Corinthians on our Sunday mornings this fall, a series we are calling “Transformation Through Trials.” This morning, we come across a sin issue in the Corinthian church that the church had handled the right way, and now Paul says they have 1 more step to make everything right. What happened in Corinth, and what does it teach us about the delicate – but important – matter of handling sin in the church?
