We are studying the book of 2 Corinthians on Sunday mornings, and this morning we come to 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1.  In this passage, we find the difficult challenge of being different from the world while still living in it.  Let’s see what Paul says, and let’s ask ourselves some questions about really being “set apart” for God…

PM – Tell Me About the Kingdom

Tonight we begin a Sunday night series on Jesus’ “Kingdom Parables” in the Gospel of Matthew. Let’s start with one of the great scenes in Jesus’ life, found in Matthew chapter 13: Jesus teaching from a boat, the crowd on the beach, listening to Jesus tell stories about the kingdom. What do those stories teach us about the nature and value of Christ’s kingdom?

PM – The Rise of Joseph: Starting a New Life

We are studying the life of Joseph on Sunday nights this fall!  Tonight, Joseph is sold in Egypt, and is forced to begin a new life.  He finds that God isn’t done blessing him, but he also finds that Satan isn’t done trying to pull him away from God.  Joseph faces a faith-crossroads decision, one that would be much bigger than he surely could’ve known at the time…
