God truly blessed us to have been part of such a loving congregation during Bill’s battle with cancer. The outpouring of physical, emotional and spiritual support means more than you’ll ever know.
We are told in Prov. 17:17, “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.” I praise God for friends like you and that Bill’s adversity is over.
Thank you for continuing to show love and concern for me as I recognize you widows and others demonstrating a passage that has come to mean even more to me now than ever before.
2 Cor. 1: 3 & 4 says, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort that we ourselves have received from God.” Please pray that someday I will be able to comfort others as I have been comforted by you and will always remember as we are told in Romans. 8: 28 that, “..we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
