Counting My Blessings
I just love this verse and the song I learned in my youth. I begin my day thanking God for the blessings he has given us. The Greatest Blessing: sending his Son to live on this earth and then to die on the cross for us. I thank God for my parents: for their Christian example and love. I thank God for my family: for our health and safety. I thank God for the men: who soundly lead and serve Great Oaks. I thank God for my church family: for their support and love. I thank God for my friends: to share blessings and encouragement. I thank God for my job: that I might bring His light to someone everyday. I thank God for the hope: that one day we can live with him in Heaven. I thank God that I can also end my day in prayer with thanksgiving. We are so Blessed.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you so much for all of our Blessings. Thank you for sending your son. Thank you for your unconditional love, and all the examples you have given us to live a Christian life. In Jesus name, Amen

Contando mis bendiciones
Me encanta este verso y la canción que aprendí en mi juventud. Comienzo mi día agradeciendo a Dios por las bendiciones que nos ha dado. La Mayor Bendición: enviar a su Hijo a vivir en esta tierra y luego morir en la cruz por nosotros. Doy gracias a Dios por mis padres: por su ejemplo cristiano y su amor. Doy gracias a Dios por mi familia: por nuestra salud y seguridad. Doy gracias a Dios por los hombres: que lideran y sirven sólidamente a Great Oaks. Doy gracias a Dios por la familia de mi iglesia: por su apoyo y amor. Doy gracias a Dios por mis amigos: compartir bendiciones y aliento. Doy gracias a Dios por mi trabajo: poder llevar Su luz a alguien todos los días. Doy gracias a Dios por la esperanza: que un día podamos vivir con él en el Cielo. Doy gracias a Dios que también puedo terminar mi día en oración con acción de gracias. Somos tan bendecidos.
