But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Often times when we are going through the valleys of life, it can be hard for us to notice the amazing things that God is actively doing in us. When we face trials, God is still at work.. He has a plan.. He is with us! These trials can either bring us closer to God, or give satan the opportunity to try and pull us away. But when we are tested, God wants us to fully seek Him, keep His word on our heart, and to count it joy. Why does He want us to find joy in trials? Because our faith in Him will grow, we can grow patience, and strength to endure the next trial. If we open our eyes, heart, and soul to Him, He will provide. We must prayerfully seek Him. We have to allow God to direct our path. He will provide us with the answers that we need to get out of the deep, dark valleys of life.
Dear God, I pray that we will seek You more, and that we will seek Your guidance and wisdom to handle life’s challenges the way that You would want us to. I pray that You will make us stronger and help us to fight off satan and the temptations that he throws to us. Please make us more like You, and forgive us when we fail. In Your Son’s name we pray, Amen.

A menudo, cuando estamos pasando por los valles de la vida, puede ser difícil para nosotros darnos cuenta de las cosas asombrosas que Dios está haciendo activamente en nosotros. Cuando enfrentamos pruebas, Dios todavía está trabajando… Él tiene un plan… ¡Él está con nosotros! Estas pruebas pueden acercarnos a Dios o darle a Satanás la oportunidad de tratar de alejarnos. Pero cuando somos probados, Dios quiere que lo busquemos plenamente, guardemos su palabra en nuestro corazón y la tengamos por gozo. ¿Por qué quiere que encontremos gozo en las pruebas? Debido a que nuestra fe en Él crecerá, podemos crecer en paciencia y fortaleza para soportar la próxima prueba. Si abrimos nuestros ojos, corazón y alma a Él, Él proveerá. Debemos buscarlo en oración. Tenemos que permitir que Dios dirija nuestro camino. Él nos dará las respuestas que necesitamos para salir de los valles profundos y oscuros de la vida.
Querido Dios, oro para que te busquemos más y busquemos tu guía y sabiduría para manejar los desafíos de la vida de la manera que tú quieres que lo hagamos. Oro para que nos hagas más fuertes y nos ayudes a luchar contra Satanás y las tentaciones que nos lanza. Por favor, haznos más como Tú y perdónanos cuando fallamos. En el nombre de Tu Hijo oramos, Amén.
