In our 40’s and 50’s time of life, we usually find ourselves as a key link between generations: helping take care of parents while also continuing to encourage our children, who are often starting down their own life path. Our 40’s and 50’s age group is intended to provide faith encouragement during this important time of life. We want to help each other be strong spiritually for our church, our families, and our community.
Our 40’s and 50’s group gets together several times a year for activities (such as grill-outs), and occasionally they organize special giving drives (such as buying gifts for Tennessee Children’s Home or collecting pantry items for Lebonheur Children’s Hospital).
Our 40’s and 50’s members are often teachers in our Bible school program, but those who are not currently teaching are encouraged to be part of Bible classes every Sunday at 9 am in Room 306.
