A Christ-centered, Bible-based, and Family-oriented church committed to God, each other, and our community.

In December, when the torch was passed to me to facilitate the church blog posts, I thought of themes people could use to make it easier to write a post. The theme for March was “Lost” which went along with the theme for Lads to Leaders. I don’t believe in coincidences. As a Christian I believe that God already knows what is to come and we are to lean on Him at all times. When the world began shutting down due to this virus many of us felt lost. I, for one, have no clue what the future will hold but I do know Who holds the future. I don’t have answers for my children when they ask what we will do if something we have runs out at home and the store. But what I do have is God’s word and it says:

“Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. Instruct them to do good, to be right in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed.”

1 Timothy 6: 17-19 NASB

Take hold of that which is life indeed… Our Lord and Savior.
