Immanuel teaches us to watch, wait, and be “with”. Christians WAIT for the effects of sin to cease daily, and we are WITH those needing redemption as Jesus is with us. We are called to patiently wait and find solutions in God who is with us. We can wait because we know who is in control.
If you’ve ever spent much time with sheep, you know how innocent and gentle these creatures are. Jesus was that lamb for us. His sacrifice was powerful. His blood is amazing. He gave everything for us, so let’s give everything to Him!
