As I pause to reflect on the many bountiful blessings God has given me I can’t help but get emotional with gratitude over the magnitude of them all. I am also grateful for the many blessings through acts of kindness from church members. I would like to use this opportunity to mention one particular sister since I don’t know how to contact her. I want to thank a dear anonymous sister in Christ whose written words of encouragement, on the card she sent, were very touching and indeed a blessing. In case you happen to read this, Sister, know, also, that I am praying for you especially during this trying time.
During and after Bill’s battle with cancer, many other saints’ generosity and kindness have humbled me beyond what I could adequately express. I will be forever grateful to them.
I pray I will be receptive to God’s guidance in using my words and deeds in shining His light as this sister and so many others have done.
In Matthew 5:16 Jesus says, “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” You have fulfilled this scripture and blessed me in so many ways. To God be the glory!
